Walking Tour Getaria & Zumaia

Discover the Basque coast visiting these two unique villages

We will start our trip in the fisherman village of Getaria where we will walk through its medieval streets and port visiting it’s most known landmarks like the underground hermitage and the church of San Salvador and will learn who Elkano was and why is so important in world’s history among other things. It’s gastronomical and Basque cultural traditions sets Getaria as one of the visits you cannot skip if you are spending your holidays in the Basque Country.

We will then visit the neighbor village of Zumaia famously known for its Flysch where you will be able to “read” 50 million years of history and walk around its old town with its gothic church from the XIII century.  Zumaia was also one of the chosen places to film the iconic series Game of Thrones.  If you are a fan let us tell you all about it!
